Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 Favorite high school memory?: The senior year Powder Puff game was really fun. Most memorable experience since high school?: Definately watching 3 kids learn and grow. Pre-children, I also enjoyed traveling overseas with my husband and working in a few remote Alaskan areas. I really enjoy meeting new people. From Christine: Hi all! I have been having fun living in beautiful Bend, Oregon (ski resort town) after jumping around a bit (Austin, TX and Seattle, WA). After graduating from U of I, I worked as an environmental chemist until deciding that cleaning up toxic waste wasn't compatible with family life. My husband is from Oregon and so we ended up here in Bend. I don't think that I will make it to the reunion, but if you ever visit Bend look me up! |

Occupation: Law Enforcement
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Deanna: Can't believe it's been 20 years already! Kurt and I were set up on a blind date. We have been married for 15 years. We live about 20 miles s/w of Joliet in Morris. We have a daughter, Abigail (Abby), who is 11, and a son, Daniel (Danny), who is 8. Kurt is a plumber and has his own business. I have been with the Grundy County Sheriff's Department for 14 years. I went part-time when I had Abby so I could stay home. I have been back full-time for four years, now that both the kids are in school full-time. I work 12 hour shifts which works out to be 15 days a month, and nights, 7pm-7am, which allows me to play around with my sleep schedule. Because of this, I am able to volunteer at school and be involved with all my kids' activities. Cheryl Quist and Coletta Coleman are still my two best friends. We get together or talk whenever time allows. It's been great reading about everyone else. Looking forward to seeing everyone in October! |

This is an odd time for me to check in because I'm a student again, at the U. of M. (Minnesota). Finally got a master's. This year I'm learning Arabic on a fellowship. In between: Worked low-paying jobs in France, Spain and Ireland for a few months. Newspaper reporter for a while. Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota. Editor at an Internet news company. Started dating my boss, we quit, moved to Egypt, got married, had a kid, came back. There you go in a nutshell. |

Occupation: Director of Research
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 1 Most memorable experience since high school?: Birth of my daughter and lots of highlights since. From Ted: To be honest, high school was kind of a blur for me ... I'm sorry to say it was more about "getting through it", than "having fun" or (regrettably) getting to really know people. But, no regrets here for sure ... I met my soulmate ... Eileen Young (at the time) at (of all places) Baskin-Robbins. She went to DGS. We've been married 13 years and have a little girl (emily). Back then, I was a cross-country geek/nerd and guess I still am ... I still run, have done the corporate-thing, left to start my own real estate company, blah-blah-blah... (2010 update) ... yeah, "blah-blah-blah", right ... aaaaannnnddddd right back to corporate as real estate "softened" (fortunate timing) ... I updated my email address so it's current. Annnndddd, welcome back to the real world! |
